Department of Statistics

Department of Statistics is established with the objectives of teaching students in combinations of practical and theoretical knowledge in order to make effective and correct decisions in implementing successful enterprises and associations, to be empowered with the skills of laying down the future plans and to calculate about the future economic conditions.  Besides, essential methods for quality control in production, as well as marketing research methodology that enables to explore the marketing status, are included in the curriculum and syllabus design.

The curriculum also includes population statistics, development indicators, economics and social statistics, which are necessary for planning for the development of a nation, and finance and insurance statistics, which is important for banking and insurance enterprises, as well as research methodology essential in respective fields.
